A familiar face is going to be entering the city council race in Town Ward.
Joy Lachica announced her intention to run in the upcoming municipal election earlier this week.
Lachica ran as the federal NDP candidate back in September.
Current councillor Dean Pappas is going to be running again, while wardmate Kemi Akapo’s status remains unclear.
