Rain barrels can help you save big time on your water bills during the spring and summer seasons.
Random Acts of Green CEO Jessica Correa says that’s why their annual rain barrel sale is such a big hit.
Orders must be placed online in advance of the pick up event. Prices start at $45, including tax, and will be distributed on Friday – May 27, 2021, 11:00-6:00 pm, at the Boston Pizza South Location 821 Rye Street.
Officials say installing a rain barrel is an easy way to help homeowners save money, as well as protecting our local environment. They help capture and store rainwater from rooftops that can be used to irrigate flowers, vegetables, or other landscaped areas.
Correa adds rolling composters are also available and that Random Acts of Green wants to help the Peterborough community process organic waste and convert it to ‘black gold’ for their gardens.
