The annual Festival of Trees is making a return to the Buckhorn Community Centre.
The event features beautifully decorated Christmas trees as well as festive home décor.
Organizers say there’s no charge to browse the hall, but visitors can purchase tickets for a chance to win their favourite item, sponsored by local businesses and individuals. Ticket prices are only $5 for 5, $10 for 15 and $15 for 25.
General Manager Judy McWhirter says volunteers put in a lot of time for this event, from organizing and decorating, to selling tickets and serving food. She adds she is proud that they have such generous sponsors as well to make this fundraising event for the Centre such a success every year.
The Festival of Trees will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Saturday, November 26th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
