While for many the holidays is about spending time with others, that’s sadly not the case for everyone.
Jay Lough Hayes from Peterborough Santas for Seniors says they’re always on the lookout for seniors who may not have anyone to celebrate with.
Hayes adds it all started when someone asked her to take part in it.
Hayes adds that there are over 600 seniors on their list this year.
2022 Christmas trees are located at: the Peterborough Police station, Highland Park Funeral Centre, Mirror Mirror Hair Salon, Kawartha Credit Union in Lansdowne Place, MP Michelle Ferrier’s Office on Bethune St., Re/Max offices in both Lakefield and Bridgenorth, Bowes & Cocks Office on Charlotte St., Kawartha Care next door to Cineplex on Water St. and Active Living & Wellness on Lansdowne St. in behind Shopper’s Drug Mart.
