Peterborough Musicfest’s popular Diner’s Book is back after a two-year absence, offering discounts at 56 city restaurants while supporting the annual summer music festival.
Selling for $25, the total coupon value is $600. That, says Musicfest general manager Tracey Randall, means one only has to use two or three coupons for the book to pay for itself. She’s particularly thrilled that so many restaurants have come on board.
Noting that all proceeds from Diner’s Book sales go directly to paying artist fees for the 2023 season, Randall says the campaign also serves another important purpose.
Randall adds the campaign allows people to support an event that has brought free live music to Del Crary Park for 35 summers now. .
The Diner’s Book can be purchased at the Lansdowne Place customer service desk or at the Peterborough and Kawarthas Tourism at George and King Streets, or visit www.ptbomusicfest.ca/shop to order online. Those who buy three books receive a fourth one free.
