A simple gesture can mean a whole world of difference.
Peterborough County-City Paramedics in collaboration with Fourcast, Peterborough County, the City of Peterborough, and Windsor’s Drycleaning Centre is launching the ‘Blankets for People’ Initiative for those in need.
The idea came from Commander of Operations with Peterborough County-City Paramedics Craig Jones.
Owner of Windsor’s Bruce Thompson says it was a no brainer to get involved.
Donated blankets and sleeping bags will be professionally cleaned at no cost and delivered to Fourcast’s CTS site on Simcoe Street beside the Downtown Bus Terminal. There are no criteria for anyone to receive a blanket, and Fourcast’s staff provide a caring and judgement free environment.
