Ilir Sino is one of those people who flies under the radar but, when it comes to giving back to the community, is someone we should all take notice of and appreciate.
The owner of The Original Spaghetti House Pizzeria at 512 George Street South (at Lansdowne Street) doesn’t seek publicity for his ongoing provision of free meals for those in need. Rather, it’s his way of saying a hearfelt thank you to a community that embraced him, his family and the business.
His motivation for helping out, whether by providing meals or donating gift cards to community fundraisers, can be found in it simply being the right thing to do.
Sino’s Fine Foods, Sino’s other business located on Monaghan Road, has occasionally donated a portion of sale proceeds to various local charities and sports teams.
