The Peterborough Century 21 Lakers remain undefeated in the early stages of the Major Series Lacrosse season, securing a 14-9 road win over the Brooklin Lacrosse Club Wednesday night.
Leading the charge for the Lakers was Turner Evans, who celebrated the birth of his first daughter on Tuesday, with three goals and three assists.
Thomas Hoggarth also delivered an outstanding performance, recording a hat trick during the third period, including two one-handed highlight reel goals.
The game was deadlocked at five goals each after the first period but Peterborough managed to pull away after a couple good runs in the second and third periods.
With the Lakers riding high on their 2-0 start to the season, excitement is mounting for their home opener and Mann Cup banner raising which is set to take place tonight at the PMC.

Game time tonight is 8pm but the Lakers are urging everyone to be seated by 7:45pm for the opening ceremonies.
