The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry Restricted Fire Zone for Trent Lakes and the Trent Lakes municipal burn ban has been lifted.
Officials do say however the current fire danger index remains high at this time and no daytime burning is permitted in Trent Lakes between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
All burn permits will be reinstated and anyone requiring a burn permit can apply for one on Trent Lakes’ website.
Trent Lakes Fire Rescue asks residents to please continue to use caution when burning.
