It was the second of a three game road trip for the Petes as they stopped in Flint to take on the Firebirds.
The Petes were coming off a loss to Sarnia on Wednesday night to open up the road trip, and were looking to turn things around against a Firebirds team that had struggled to win at home and had lost three straight games.
