The Peterborough Petes wrapped up the 2024 OHL Priority Selection with a strong showing, adding 13 players on the second day to complete their draft class of 15.
On Friday night, the draft began with the selection of local forward Colin Fitzgerald as the third overall pick, followed by Barrie Colts defenseman Blake Gowan at 32nd.
Over the next 13 rounds, the team added nine forwards, three defensemen, and a goaltender to their roster.

- Luis Sturgeon (D) – Lambton Jr. Sting U16
- Jonny Brooks (F) – Oakville Rangers U16
- Alexander Smyth (F) – Carolina Jr. Hurricanes U15
- Kasra Fathi (F) – Kitchener Jr. Rangers U16
- Matthew McKenna (F) – Central Ontario Wolves U16
- Matthew Crawford (F) – Sun County Panthers U16
General Manager and Vice President of Operations, Michael Oke, expressed his enthusiasm for the talent they’ve acquired, stating, “We are thrilled with this group of players that we’ve added over the last two days. We’re eagerly anticipating seeing them on the ice at development camp in the coming weeks.”
