Raised on the McLean Berry Farm near Lakefield, Erin and Ben McLean experienced and inherited their parents’ love for being connected to locally grown food.
Now, more than 30 years after the farm was purchased, Erin and Ben, their own kids as their sides, are carrying on the family’s farming legacy at what expanded in 2010 to become McLean and Buckhorn Berry Farms.
Today, the family farm not only wholesales fresh farm food to the regional market but also hosts popular pick-your-own opportunities that sees thousands annually flock to McLean’s as part of their own family tradition.
