Music lovers are going to be able to check out some outstanding acts as part of Peterborough Folk Festival.
The festival kicks-off Thursday and continues right through until Sunday at Nicholls Oval Park.
Festival chair Rob Davis says organizers “are absolutely thrilled” to bring Juno-award winning ‘July Talk’ to Peterborough for the first time in more than 10 years.
Davis adds while big-name acts get a lot of attention, the festival continues its mandate of bringing local acts to its three stages.
There will also be a ‘Children’s Village’ with crafts, face-painting, story-telling and performances such as music, story time and family yoga.
