Anticipation is building as the Peterborough Petes prepare to take the ice for their regular season, starting this Thursday against the Kingston Frontenacs.
The Petes finished their preseason schedule with a 3-2 record, which included a 5-2 road loss to the Frontenacs on Friday, followed by a 3-2 win over Guelph on Saturday at the Cavan Monaghan Community Centre.
Head coach Rob Wilson says he was very happy with how training camp went and noted that while they have a young team this year, it will be an exciting season.
Wilson says was impressed with how training camp went and is looking forward to getting this season started.
The roster team will showcase a blend of new faces and returning players and Wilson says they’re all great character guys.
