Both the Frontenacs and the Petes arrived at the Memorial Centre on Thursday night, kicking off their 2024/25 seasons.
Both teams had faced off less than a week before in pre-season play, with the Petes falling in that exhibition game, but were looking for a different result in game 1 of the 68 game season.
Freq 90.5’s Stew Kernan says it began as a close game with just a goal separating the teams, until the Frontenacs took a big lead later in the second period.
