The Peterborough Humane Society’s Fall 2024 50/50 Lottery ended on October 15th, reaching a new record of $43,905.
Melissa of Peterborough won the grand prize of $21,950, while the Marlin Travel ‘Ruff’le, a raffle for a $5,000 travel gift certificate, also raised a was won by Elaine Mason, also of Peterborough.
The lottery and raffle raised $36,312 for animals in need. Officials say plans are already in motion for the next 50/50 Lottery.
