It was the final game before the holiday break for the Petes on Friday night as they travelled to Kingston to face the Frontenacs.
The Petes won their only other game of the weekend, a shoot out win over Ottawa on Thursday on home ice.
While Peterborough has been able to find some success in the month of December on home ice, they have been struggling to string together wins on the road so far this season, and were hoping that Santa would bring them better fortune on Friday.
Freq 90.5 Stew Kernan says the Petes faced some penalty trouble in the final period which allowed Kingston to pull away
