It was the first home game of 2025 for the Petes as they welcomed the Barrie Colts to the Memorial Centre on Thursday night.
Both teams sporting new faces, including the Petes who claimed Brady Stonehouse in a trade earlier in the day, and the Colts adding two more former Battalion players late last week.
In a matchup of polar opposites in the standings, the Colts who sit in first place in the Eastern Conference were looking to end a two game losing skid, while the last place Petes were coming off a win over the the Wolves in Sudbury on Sunday.
