What’s good in Peterborough: Organizers expecting near record numbers for annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

It is shaping up to be one of the biggest versions of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade ever in the City of Peterborough.

With the big event coming up on Sunday, more than 100 floats have already registered to take part.

Organizer Tim Burke says he’s really looking forward to the day.

Burke adds not only is this the parade’s 25th anniversary, but the 200th anniversary of the Peterborough Robinson emigration.

The parade starts at 2 p.m. sharp and runs along George Street from City Hall to Morrow Park.
