A 33-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after an alleged incident at a downtown building Saturday evening.
At around 5:40 pm on Saturday, officers on patrol near George Street and Simcoe Street were flagged down by four teenagers. Police learned that inside the building, a man had allegedly tried to lure one of the teens into a washroom while his pants were down.
Officers located the suspect in the washroom and took him into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, the man was charged with invitation to sexual touching under 16 and failure to comply with a probation order.
Police say the accused was already under a probation order requiring him to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
