A 42-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested early yesterday morning after police discovered she was wanted on multiple warrants.
Just before 2am, an officer on patrol near Chamberlain Street and Brewer Street stopped a cyclist for riding without lights. During the stop, the officer learned the woman was wanted on five warrants, including multiple counts of failing to comply with a probation order, unauthorized use of a credit card, and possession of property obtained by crime.
She was taken into custody on the outstanding warrants.
